Breaking down Intercom’s creating a survey dashboard. Video, Screenshots, and Figma files included. Here’s Part 1 if you want to check it out.
For the sake of time and moving fast, we’re using Untitled UI Design System. I highly recommend it.

1/ Nice touch here, lets you preview the template before diving in. This helps minimize unnecessary saved files if it's not what you wanted.
Plus, helps minimize jumping back and forth from one screen to another.
2/ Editing directly in the design is fantastic. It allows users to see the final product in real-time, minimizing any guesswork.
3/ Nice touch. Essentially, it's asking: if we can't find a first name, what alternative should we use?
4/ I’m always fascinated by the type of icons used to help heighten a piece of text. This 1,2,3 Numeric scale icon doesn’t disappoint. It has a subtle, dynamic feel to it.
5/ Excellent error feedback. It clearly identifies the issues and provides solutions.
6/ I appreciate that branching logic can be added without leaving the page, thanks to the slide-out. It feels seamless.
7/ Instead of just disabling a button without explanation, hovering over it tells you how to enable it. Many products overlook this subtle but impactful detail.
8/ Appreciate the preview window feature. It allows for an interactive test inline, eliminating extra testing steps. Plus, they offer a live test on your website if you have Intercom integrated.
Overall, Intercom offers a fantastic user experience for creating surveys, arguably even surpassing companies specializing solely in surveys. The attention to detail and emphasis on “simplicity” is commendable.
